Senate Republicans have finally convinced Baseball Hall of Famer Jim Bunning to retire and not run for reelection. He was showing an inability to raise any significant funds for his reelection efforts, and the Republicans need to field strong candidates in every race they can. A front-runner for the nomination has not emerged, but there are several candidates that have raised more campaign funds than Bunning had. Out with the old, in with the new. Now if only Mitch McConnell would take his own advice and retire as well...
