Considering the implications of the McCain and Obama tax plans. From The American. I still can't figure out why Obama and the Democrats think raising taxes on anyone is going to help grow the economy. McCain's proposal to lower the corporate tax rate to 25% from 35% sounds like a great idea, as it would make the climate in the US more amenable to businesses and corporations, which more than anything else, will drive the long term growth of the US economy. Ireland recently slashed their corporate taxes to 11%, and they have seen a huge spike in their economy and job creation as a result. What is so hard to understand about this?
